I've decided...

That I must just look like the kind of mom that should have a daughter. Because there is no way that many people can legitimately think that my son is a girl.  I could understand if I had dressed him in gender neutral colors...maybe.  But today he was even wearing a flat golf hat and someone still asked if he was a girl!

The first couple dozen times I wasn't offended...but now I am beginning to wonder if there is something I am doing that gives off girl vibes about him. Or maybe it's just that at this age its so hard to tell. I try to stay positive...because most of the people who make the mistake are still complimenting my child...regardless of his gender...he is one beautiful baby (I'm slightly biased).

  1. He's so clearly a boy to me but it happens to everyone, I think. Emmaline was wearing a ruffly purple shirt last week and someone called her a boy!
