Miles of Smiles

So today Gunnar and I took an impromptu trip to Target as we suddenly seemed to be out of diapers and our subscription of  seventh generation's from Amazon isn't expected to arrive until Wednesday and we had ummm 2 left. Yikes!

So I haphazardly dressed Gunnar in a hodgepodge of clothes that were clean (laundry hasn't been getting done this week...so it was slim pickings) and rushed him out the door as soon as he woke from his mid morning nap...but not before Daddy added a cap to his "ensemble"....nice touch daddy!

I'm not sure...but I think we can thank the outfit for the plethora of smiles, comments, oooh's and ahhh's at Target. Seriously...I don't think I passed a single person that didn't either make a comment about his general cuteness or smile from ear to ear.  It was like I was carrying a bag of sunshine with me and brightening peoples day all over Target! I haven't seen such results since I brought therapy animals to the nursing home in college! And it made me think...

Maybe I should dress my child in crazy adorable outfits and take him to random locations everyday!!

I'm convinced...this could be the answer to world peace! Or at the very least maybe this cute little guy can single handedly change the general disposition of the Illinois people...(who I have heard are called "FIB's" or F-ing Illinois Bastards by people of the surrounding states).

What do you think?  Maybe...maybe!

Here's the outfit that garnered all the smiles for Mr. G Miles!

  1. I must say that I read the post, but nothing I read could complete with the smile and chuckle I gave in response to the pic. Little Gunnar looks so serious in his little outfit. I am a new fan from Bloggy Moms!
